Hi guys, well summer is almost upon us here in West Australia and for the last 2 weeks there has been quite a lot of people on the beaches and in the water so today i donned on the chest waders and went to one of our beaches, Yep the water is still bloody cold, a few more months before it gets comfortable.
Anyways i stayed there for a few hrs and was surprised at the results, not many pulltabs which was great and only 2 beer bottle caps i was surprised at the money and rings that popped up in the short time that i was there.I managed to find 7 rings, 1 18 kt gold 2 9 kt gold and 3 Sterling silver ones 1 Mood ring 1 silver ear ring and 1 small locket plus $13.40 in change.
The gold rings look like they were only lost recently but the silver rings and the money has been there a fair while..
Cheers Raoul

Nice haul Raoul....

I used to live in Perth..some years ago now.

I did some detecting in the water at some real nice beaches, some place called Cott (not sure of the spelling) was good except too much soft sand most of the time.

What beach did you pick the rings up from, the names will come back to me.

Enjoy your summer, already -5C up here.

Wow, what an awesome day you had. Don't you wish they were all like that :)
Congrats on all the beautiful rings. That 18kt band is really sweet. Thanks for sharing!

Smiles!
