First time inthe water this year.....gold with Diamonds!

I'm a little late getting started this year for a variety of reasons, but finally got in the water yesterday to see if the Excal still worked. After a few hours, I ended up with one men's stainless wedding band, one beat up ear ring, about $4 in change and this 14k diamond ring.....not a bad first time out at all!

Whoa.....finally got around to having the ring looked at by my jeweler. Total 1 carat of diamonds, vvs1/vvs2 clarity (really nice high quality diamonds). Appraised value:$5000.

Have to say, going to smile for a long time on this one!
