well, it is ok.

not as fancy and cool as my 4 1/2 lb'er. that I returned.....but being only 3 lbs I must say the diff in weight is wonderful.
only 1 1/2 lbs. but the feeling difference is huge actually. I was surprised.

I think it will do fine. At least I am one up from my homemade sand scoops now :)

to the beach on the 17th for 9 days of incredible non stop hunting!! I am going insane waiting for this trip :laughing9:

Congrats, and good luck on your trip. What scoop did you get? I've been doing LOTS of research and I think I've settled on the fact that I'll have to cough up $100 or a little more to get a good one.

it was $109. first one was $149 but returned due to heavy weight.



new one is R790 and weighs 3 lbs. not as fancy as the one I returned, but very manageable. this is a pic of the new one. stainless.
