Last week after TS Debby while shallow water (ankle deep) hunting I ran across a 1929 King George V one penny. It was pretty crusty and I figure it was in the water for a while. Today while in about thigh deep water at a completely different beach I dug up a 1915 King George V one penny. Before this the oldest coin I've found was a 1941 Merc. What are the odds?
