I only use VCO mode myself. Normal can gain an extra lil bit of depth, so i'm told.

VCO all the time.

As for the other settings, you may want to start as mentioned in the manual. These work good. But don't be afraid of making changes, the machine works well and is easy to use.

Normal mode; Pulse Width at 3/4 (230pm position), Threshold at around 1/2 (12-1pm position), so that it is barely audible. Have fun and BIG Gold!
