Spanish reale

A couple of years ago we had an awesome cut at the beach that I hunt.
The beach lost 4 feet of sand right down the middle of the beach, between
high and low tide.I dug this cookie coin or encrusted coin and at a glance
I thought it was a half dollar. I tapped It on my shovel and the crust fell off
and the first thing that I saw was the date,1795. I couldn't believe my eyes,
One of my best finds to date, I've been hunting steady since 2000, but 2010
was the best year I've had so far, hope we get more like it.Hope you like it. not very good pics, best I could do carolus the 4th 2 reale.

Pretty rare to see a 2 Reales being found, congrats to you.
I'd like to see some close ups of that coin if you can, these pics seem a little blurry.

I did clean it with bakin soda only, When the coin came out of it's crust it was gray, besides it's thinner than a dime and can't be worth much money wise.
Lorraine thanks for likeing my nicest oldes coin to date but not my best coin find, I haven't posted that one but I do belong to the gold coin club,I'll post
it soon. Buy the way Lorraine those rocky cuts I've seen on some of your posts are the best places to find one and I hope you do, wniter cuts are the best,
