Weekly beach hunt...93 targets dug.

All day water hunt with Bigmike and Davidfl. Fun day with plenty of targets to scoop. 15 earings, all junk except one silver 1.2 grams...3 rings, a steel spinner, a tiny junk and a 3.3 garm silver band. Found and returned a mans gold ring in waist deep water. He lost it a few minutes before I got there and I had it in the scoop in 5 minutes. It was a nice ring, about 10 grams and he gave me a 25 dollar reward...not bad for 5 minutes work. Thats my fourth ring returned this year and its a great feeling to see people get their rings back...the look on their face when they see the ring is priceless. Saw and talked to several other people detecting including WillieD. The gold was hiding from everyone this day.

You definitely cleaned up on those hoop earrings. At least one of them were silver. I can't remember the last silver one I've found.

Congrats on the return, at least we know the gold is being lost.

I talked to Vinny down there and he found gold, at least it looked like it. I couldn't read the markings, but I'm pretty sure it was.

For some its a hassle to stop and help someone who lost a ring. You are right ..... those people you get to see just how excited they are that you were there and found it. Congrats on the return. You guys are kicking up some sand up there..... nice hunt.
