QUESTION ABOUT ATLANTIC CITY

Does anyone know if and when detecting will be allowed in Atlantic City. I may be going up in a few weeks with my mother in law and if I can spend most of it on the beach alone, that would be great! THX HH

I'm posting this to save you from a fate worse than death -vacation with the mother in law!!!!!

AC is open for detecting as are all the beaches south of AC. Longport, about five miles south, took it pretty hard on the chin, so I'd stay away, but other towns are getting back to some level of normal. AC is good to go.
