Yesterday's finds

Water is still rough but I took a chance. Got a silver ring and a tungsten. The silver ring was marked "DY" and I was thinking it might be a David Yurman piece but it was beat to hell. The gal who wore this ring must have been a ditch digger or mechanic. I went into town to get a new watch sized and while I was waiting for the "watchmaker" to get back from his break I walked down to the jewelry store. Found the exact same ring and checked the markings. Mine was missing the copyright c logo and the DY marking was kind of shoddy, this may have been from wear.

Thought it was a knock off as I was looking at it again but decided to fire up the diamond tester and what do you know. The 45 little diamonds paved set in the silver ring were real!

The ring at the local place was priced at $895.00 and Saks sells it for $895.00. I'll never get half that but it's still a good start.

Thanks for looking and good luck out there.
