Did a road trip with my hunting buddy. I havent been able to get in the water for about 3 weeks so id like to say it was nice to jump in.... but it was COLD.... i mean well digger belt buckle cold. We are really sanded in and there were very few target. The ones we were finding were deep. My bud got the first hit...... it was about a 50 lb boat anchor with chain :laughing7:. Never did see him put that in his pouch. We were about to give up for a few and go to lunch then i got a deep hit. Switched to disc and it was a real weak bad bottle cap sound. Took out the first scoop and i would have guessed ...... juice lid. Got down about 10 or 12 inches and was shaking the scoop and looking for the missing juice lid that i thought may have fallen out of the scoop. Took another look and ...... yellow, big FAT 14K yellow. Looks like a recent drop .... but man they get deep fast at the wave line.

Lookindown...... i kept swinging looking for the juice lid thinking it was floating around down there. I could have swore thats what it was and i didnt see it right away in the scoop. I was in PP and it was a weak small signal those i always remove a little sand from to check. Many times its a really deep can.... but i got a little bit of bottle cap sound at first on this one. As long as i can rule out iron on those deep ones i dig.
