Found this in the shallow water at a very old swim beach. It has a vintage look to it. The irregular scribe marks look like they were done by hand. Maybe someone grew tired of their plain ole band and altered it?

I'd have to agree, it does look like someone decided to alter the look of the ring. Congrats on the find.

I have to agree with ya - their doesn't appear to be any consistency (machined) but still a nice find garren.
