For a 17 year old i did fairly good today lol. I was detecting the wet sand with my excal. 2 and my arm got tired after 2 hours.( water was dragging) so i decided to check the drysand...went to a volleyball net and found it right under there. Melt value is 449 bucks! On Zales a ring like this sells for 3000 very excited

Awesome find! At first I thought the diamonds were the Cartier symbol. Cartier = big change. Great job, but at 17 you are too young to be getting tired after only 2 hours. Hit the gym young man! :laughing7:

Hah! Im actually gonna get started here again this week. Bigger biceps = bigger rings lol

Have you thought about possibly trying to find the owner? Check the articles possibly "lost and found". I'm sure the owners worried sick, but a ring of that value, they might just say it's gone for good. Because who'd return a valuable ring that was found?
There is a website that notifies us mders about lost items and if found they get returned.
So it could be possible that it could be on the lost list.
