The Cuda is an awesome pulse machine--even by todays standards. Mine has a PI Pro coil hardwired in. It's smooth running, deep, and has great audio. It's also great where there is interference from hills, contours or inclines.--goes in behind anything. The low-conductor optimisation is fantastic--it gets tiny foils and where targets have been taken out. Can't get over what a great job Jim Pugh did with this detector. Anyone who has one that needs restoring--do it! The big ring is an .800 Portugese soccer team ring-- 12,2 gr, and two 14k bands both 11.4 gr.

anchor electronics pulse induction.........no longer made! there sure are some great old machines out there and if you have one of the great oldies, hang on to it!!!!! funny and sad at the same time sad that some 10-15 year old designs are as good as or better than what we have available at present!

nice finds, as usual!

I have a baracuda but my coil is shot. Where did you get a PI pro coil, who sells them, and who can hardwire it to the control box. I uses mine underwater all the time, does this hardwiring keep it waterproof? How much did the coil cost and size please

Great finds Clive,

What I find astounding is that some of the best underwater PI and VLF metal detectors are no longer made...:icon_scratch:

All of Eric Foster's PI's (Deepstar, Aquastar) and the Barracuda. The original Excalibur Sword as well.

It's a crime I tell you !!!!:BangHead:
