Hello, I'm new to this forum. I'm still a novice, and live in Anderson, SC area. I'm trying to learn as much as possible so I can make this a hobby for me and my 7 year old little boy. Looking for your expertise and guidance on the Do's and don'ts of Metal Detecting in water. I have done my homework on MD, although I still have questions when MD in streams, creeks, rivers, and lakes. I know that State Parks are off limits, and you have to ask permission to hunt on private property. My questions are:
How do you research locations to enter into Creeks, streams, and rivers to MD?
what part of these waterways are public property?
Any MD/ treasure hunters near Anderson, SC or Upstate South Carolina?
