Well I got the important stuff packed and ready to head back to the homeland for a few days of digging.

Hope to run into some of the Jersey crew while I'm there. If not I will try and leave a few bottlecaps behind.

Hey Hamid,

Don't mean to hijack this thread, but I'm wondering if the amount of gold you've found this year is 57.6 grams or 576 grams?

Thanks everybody. I haven't been back home in a long time so it will be nice to hit the beaches I used to play on as a kid. I will be in New Jersey around the Long island area. I am also going to hit my home neighborhood in Philly and do some land hunting with a few friends. Eat a dozen cheesesteaks and maybe catch a ball game.

The hard case is a Plano rifle case. I had to get the 54" by 20" to fit the wot coil. The only thing that bummed me out is the airline wouldn't let me lock it.... But I really didn't feel like stowing it in my carry on. I stashed my stealth 720i scoop and travel handle in another bag along with an rgt beach scoop I turned into a travel scoop.

Oh and if it's Hamid I would go with the 576 grams. Which will be another trip I look forward to taking in October. Maybe I can even get some utube videos of the master at work.
