A little bit of this and a little bit of that, and a silver ring at high tide today

Days are getting shorter and cutting into the low tide time table

Hunted these past two days in the mid-day sunlight at the high tide line where I found a few low lying areas devoid of the fluffy sand...down to the gray flat surface of the slope.

Found lots of clads yesterday ( no photo), and today it was clads, sinkers, and an ornate Sterling ring with the year"62 inscribed under the face of the ring.

Yesterday was my Birthday , and today's ring find was a nice post Birthday gift

There are many ways to clean heavily tarnished silver; below is the method that I use:

Soak in Tar -X ; followed by a rinse in warm water, and then scrub with baking soda and a soft toothbrush;

repeat the above process until all tarnish is removed; finish off with Jeweler's rouge buffing.
