There are alot of wrecks besides the plate fleet.
Older and more recent.
Florida state antiquity laws apply to every item on submerged bottom land including the entire lagoon all the way around the state..out to international water.
The answer to your question is yes.

The east coast has a long and rich history, the number of shipwrecks is staggering with the locations of most of those still being uncertain. Thousands of survivors made it to these shores, an untold amount of riches from shipwrecks looted and carried off by the native Indians, the French were also here, etc., etc., etc. Unexplained finds have been made all up and down the coast so you just never know what, or where, something unusual might be discovered. Many of these undiscovered wrecks and treasures lay under several feet of sand, the exposing and scattering of their evidence possibly coming with the arrival of the next storm or rough seas. In my humble opinion, what has already been found isn't even scratching the surface as to what still remains - somewhere out there.
