Really neat looking I'd like to be able to use something other than the design on a paper towel for size reference if possible.. Do you have any knowledge on buildings that were in the area possibly in the 30's or 40's?
It makes me think of an architectural piece too maybe a hotel

That's a good suggestion. I found it on a residential beach that has no history of hotels. I found it after that large winter storm came through about 7 inches down.

The beach use to be a WWII artillery range for planes.

Well good luck.
I know how sandy the Gulf of Mexico is and judging by the shape and likely the density of that object I would say it came from the beach itself and didn't get washed in.
You never know what you're going to find on the beach that's for sure with a history of storms in the Gulf of Mexico that could have been part of construction debris being transported by barge that got washed ashore... just guessing here
