I hit the beach this morning at 630 am. It was 46 degrees out but I wanted to see if I could find a phone that I have been trying to get. My scoop is to small to grab it so I am in the market for a new scoop and looking at the stealth 920I to use with my Excal II. Any suggestions? I know that the target is a phone because of the ear plugs that I broke off thinking it was a surfers ankle strap. The water kept coming in and filling up my digs and pounding me. I am going back at low tide tonight and try to get it.

Mean while, I poked around a little in the dry sand and came up with this find. i don't see a stamp on the inside so I wonder if it is real?

It's like TresureNet, you can find gold, silver, bronze....... fakes and trash. As long as you coil function and you have enough battery remaining, be prepared to digg :blackbeard:

Finding a junk ring is almost as good as finding a real one... it means you're doing it right! Just without the payoff.

Nice find anyway.
