It's that time again in Florida... First water hunt of the year... GOLD

Got out this weekend with Lookindown and DavidFL and had a great time. The water was a little chilly when we got in but in 5 minutes it felt great. We hunted about 8 hours in the water and I never got cold. Targets were plentiful and I even picked up my first gold of the season. I'm usually behind early in the season and have to fight to catch up so it's nice to get one early. It's small (only 2.6 grams 14K) but I'll take it. Lookindown got a very nice James Avery chain and cross and DavidFL got a couple nice silver rings and some Raybans. Looks like it is gonna be a good year. I can't wait to get back out there again. Watch the video below......

8 hrs in the water. Thats some serious swinging. Congrats. You all hunt east coast?
Ya, we're used to hunting marathon hunts. I'm usually ready to go after 9 or 10 hours but it wouldn't take much to make me stay a little longer. We're from central Florida so it's about the same to either coast so we get to both but mostly we hunt the west coast.
