A drop that fresh I would expect someone to be looking for. I'd ask the lifeguards if anyone mentioned losing a ring or maybe post it to social media without showing the inscription of course. At least that's what I would do.

oh thats a fresh one :)

my record was finding a wedding band which was 3 weeks old, your ring however is even fresher ;)

Its from Mexico an its very likely was lost by a cruise boat passenger. Beach does not have life guards per se. Odd thing was there was another guy who also was snorkeling with detector who came in later. Popular location though that's the only good ring I have found from the beach-lots of coins an a few silver bracelets.

Mexico huh, in that case... "to the victor belong the spoils".:thumbsup: Looks like it was lost by a European anyway, the way the date is engraved, non American style.

Many years ago I lost my wedding band while on my honeymoon in Hawaii ...because I was stupid and went swimming with it. Nice find.
