My last 2 saltwater hunts - Aug.8th & 9th
worked hard for a little bit of silver - silver Washington quarter, a Merc dime, Siam sterling ring and silver cladaugh

Aug 9th - found a small spot that was not as pounded and got a few keepers
14K gold band, another Siam sterling ring, 925 silver celtic bracelet, another Merc dime, and a first for me
a 40% silver half - was down like 2 feet - Ive got over a 100 halfs but never found a 40% one

I recognized the Siam ring right away...I found one just like it a couple years ago.
Nice gold and finds as usual.

What do you do with the fishing gear, I know you find an awful lot.....

I HAVE LIKE OVER 1000 SINKERS EASY - AND PROBABLY OVER 500 LURES
MOSTLY FROM SALT WATER - SOME FRESH
YEARS AGO - PRE 2000 - I HAD A TAG SALE/YARD SALE AND PUT LOT OF THE BETTER ONES OUT
AND SOLD THEM - MADE SOME GOOD MONEY --WE HAD A SPORTING GOODS STORE BURN DOWN AND I GOT TONS OF HOOKS OF ALL
SHAPES AND SIZES FOR PEANUTS - SO I EASILY REPLACED ALOT OF THE HOOKS
SINKERS I GOT WAY MORE FOR THAN SCRAP
THEN WHAT I DID FOR A LITTLE WHILE - WAS I BOUGHT 2 SETS OF MULTI SIZE WEIGHT MOLDS AND MELTED THE OLDER SINKERS INTO NEW
AND SOLD A LITTLE LESS THAN RETAIL AND DID PRETTY GOOD
I ALSO MELTED A BUNCH DOWN TO MAKE MY DIVE WEIGHTS - 10 LB DIVE WEIGHTS GO FOR LIKE $30 PLUS - MADE A BUNCH FOR FREE (MINUS PRICE OF MOLD WHICH WASNT MUCH) - I COULD MAKE AND SELL BOTH WITH WHAT I GOT NOW - MUST BE CLOSE TO 300LBS OF LEAD IN MY CELLAR -(THINK THATS ON THE LOW SIDE)
IVE SAVED ALL SINCE 2000 - FIGURE I'LL SAVE TILL I RETIRE - IF I EVER SEE IT

I recognized the Siam ring right away...I found one just like it a couple years ago.
Nice gold and finds as usual.

Nice work always enjoy your posts...I've got a friend that lives in your part of the country and I've been telling him that he should try metal detecting..Seems like a great area for it.
