hi,am looking forward to attacking river bed where I live right down to the estuary, fished it all my life, since a kid (am 54 now) been detecting about 5 years, there are some good muddy stoney areas where coins and artifacts may be hiding also sand bars etc,, Im wondering though, as although the tide goes a fair few miles up when it floods, as Im going to be there at low tide, and lots of fresh water comes down, shall I try my whites detector thats got discrimination, or go for my cs 4pi because of salt and mineralisation,.Perhaps its a suck it and see ? I would prefer the whites as Ive put a 4 inch coil on it , fab for in between the junk , and there will be plenty....any advice :-/
