Went to a spot where I have found many spanish cobs in the past. Today I only found galleon spikes. It seems that the stern and forcastle of one or more galleons washed up on shore here. I know that many survivors and dead washed ashore here also. I believe that many survivors used this wreckage on shore as shelter and a base of salvage operations.

Now im not saying that the bone is human, but I found it while digging this spike conglomerate, and it really creeped me out. Im no bone expert so who knows, probably turtle or bird or something. photo-564.JPG hard to see through the pink glass but im soaking this one incase theres a coin in there. Ive seen a very valuable klipp coin stuck to a spike come out of this spot, so I check them all. Ive got 8 or 9 nice spikes from here in the last 2 trips. No coins yet but it feels good this season so far.
