Anyone use the Coiltek 8.5x11.5 Platypus coil on Excalibur?

Anyone ever use the Coiltek 8.5x11.5 Platypus coil on Excalibur?


I wanna use in freshwater wading and saltwater rocky beaches. I don't know it's worth? I see used coils for sale rarely.
Any experience welcome.

I saw that coil and was interested also on my minelab sovereign. Coiltek make quality coil. I assume you will mod the Excalibur.

As myself, end up getting myself Ultimate 13'' similar price range of the platypus but it much lighter.

I would like to know if this head is more sensitive than the 10" stock coil and more stable. In freshwater or saltwater conditions.
Will you get the chains and the earrings better? I would use it in water, not on the beach. On rocky beaches where it's hard to navigate through the coil.
