Out yesterday with my Buddy Scott on a older beach from years ago. I was able to get into a small area and find a few early years trinkets, Several Buffaloes, A few V Nickels, some old Silvers ..18?9 seated half. A stunning Gold ring and Pendent.. I think. The ring and the pendent only have maker marks so I would say they are pre 1906's, both tested 10k.

The hunt yesterday was interesting, I spend 3 hours in one small area digging and digging. After I got the deeper targets I crossed back thru several times stepping into and over my holes finding targets that I had dug while going after another deeper. The water kicked up some so I went into recon mod before leaving to plan my next hunt there.

Awesome scores. I doubt if I have dug 126 rings since May of 2014.

Thanks Loco! I do hunt a lot so that helps my count. Think I average 15 to 20 hours a week.

Fantastic haul!!

Thanks Mudflap! It was a lot of digging for sure.

Great hunt...oldies and beautiful gold...congrats.

Thanks Lookindown!

Thanks Rykroll! Yes there is a lot of treasure and lots of beach's out there.

O man, I would almost kill something to have a spot like that to hunt.

Thanks Sprailroad, Really I only hunt this spot a few times a year since there are close to 80 plus more. This spot has more relic's, or unique things where as the others have more gold, which is my main target.

Thanks DS Digger! Yes a very good location but I have better closer that have more of what I'm looking for... I have about 10 spots I watch, this one been number 11...

Man , you got a couple of beauties there ! AND some silver ! Great hunt !

Thank You! Silver is a little ruff but it was a great day out!!

Gonna have to buy you one of those old miner's hats....:laughing7:

Thanks Big Scoop, I'm working on it. I did get one like Mr. Casper. Used it a few times but takes some getting use to since the water is zero vis.

Beautiful ring and pendent. Really good bunch of finds!

Thanks You TR!! One of the nicer stones I have found all year. Most are fairly banged up..

Thanks Mr Casper!!

Looks like one heck of a good hunt! Congrats!/QUOTE]

Thanks RC!! It was fun for sure!

Awesome finds OBN! The ring and pendant are very nice, congratulations.

Thanks RG!! Yes two of my better for the year.

Beautiful finds! Now you have me itching to get back to the coast!

GL & HH!

Thanks NC Digger! I fully understand. I took off a few days but got my fix today, tuesday.

Thanks Slider, Very true too, Fun!

Weather is Bad the next few days so time to do a O-Ring check up on my Excalibur. Been 8 months now and many hours in the saltwater.

The loot from yesterday..22 Jefferson and 14k (#127)

OBN0001.jpg

Now that I have it off the shaft I see more issues..Always a good idea to inspect once a year.
