Took a trip down the bay not expecting too much of anything. Crowds have not arrived yet and the weather has been dismal at best. After only 38 minutes into the hunt, this shows up.

14k 5 diamonds tested good.

Still considering the Equinox 800 (can't bring myself to say "Nox"). However, I don't think I'm missing much with the CZ considering the type of hunting I do.

From what I have read on here, had you of had a nox it would have rang up pull tab, maybe even your handle would have rattled off. Let all the bugs get worked out and then see if it dies out as fast as the AT Max fashion did.

From the outside looking in I would say your doing just fine with what you have; but if you get a good offer on your ring, then you could plan a trip to go on a small trip MDing like so many members here have done.

That's exactly what I've been doing for years. Two international trips a year, mostly financed by found loot. I have no interest in saving the jewelry. Just got back from Mexico on Friday and had a blast!!

Also agree on Equinox thought. I'm going to wait.

That CZ keeps on truckin! Nice finds. I've been scoping out the Equinox 800 but going to stay with the CZ for salt for the time being.

Beautiful ring....get a Deus. I guess I got lucky no rattles, bugs and the best detector I’ve ever owned. Worth every penny. But I will say the Deus is one awesome machine.

We both got "lucky". Not many targets. Hopefully it will pick up later with nicer weather and more people. Get to bed earlier!! LOL
