ID:	1743388 been working this old wrecker campsite for a few hunts now. This spot dates at least to the 1820s and I suspect even earlier. Most of the stuff dates to the early 1900s. All kinds of relics have been popping up and I keep hoping for some older coinage or jewlrey to get me excited. So my heart skipped a beat when I saw this puppy come up. Sadly no coins inside.Click image for larger version.

ID:	1743395 I'm not sure if it was plated, giltted, or what metal it is. I haven't seen a mark but there might be one on the inside of of the lid near the tip of the heart. Click image for larger version.

ID:	1743396 it's a bit beat up and missing some of the applied details and I'm just guessing at carnelians as stones....maybe someone else knows ?? I thought it might not be to old because the stones look glued in...but...it looks like they were set with molten solder on close inspection. That being said I have zero idea on age.Click image for larger version.

Those stones have a nice glow in the sun.
Also found a folded lead patch for a sheathed bottom sailing ship. Click image for larger version.

ID:	1743402 this one is a great example of lead sheathing from sailing ships. I also found a suspender clip marked solid bronze, a flat spoon bowl, and a twisted old brass hinge or hasp.Click image for larger version.

Geez Bart, all you ever find are either valuables or collectables, all I ever find is beer cans, ( Bud Light ), and trash.
Once again, you have found some very nice pieces.

Wrecking for those who don't know who the wreckers were. The place I'm hunting is one of there sites. Kinda like pirates or the coast guard depending what day it was.
