Casper i did that to a guy from the Ukraine i think it was. He said really ...... i said no im kidding. But he said that didnt surprise him since its normal in some countries. Lord...... someone needs to come up with a hat/shirt/tattoo..... this question is really getting old to the point of irritating. I dont carry my phone to show off BABY pictures of my finds..... so ive reduced it to ..... the best for this year. That seems to satisfy most. About the only time i relish answering this question is when shes blonde in a bikini with an hour glass figure....... ya sorry im a pig.

Not far off - we're finding land mines on the west coast of Florida - just the other day a woman turned one in that she had been picking at for several months thinking it was a large plate! Another guy found one actually metal detecting. Looking for one right now...but would rather find gold.

Funny, here in Florida I am only asked "did you find anything" but I avoid most people on the beach except a wave as I keep going. I always say trash, sharps and jagged metal. Show my pouch if I have any 'dangerous junk' to show.

That's just plain wrong!!! Now I have an image burned on the back of my eyeballs and I'm scared for life! Here comes another $25,000 in therapy!

Note to self: Avoid vacationing in Florida.

    Thanks a lot there BB!

My routine answer when asked what I'm looking for is; "Whatever I find is exactly what I was looking for!" Funny how that elicits a nervous chuckle as they briskly walk away from this old nut case.

I was once asked if that "thing" finds sea shells.
