Had about an hour after work today to hit a beach I usually drive by. Mostly I see surf fisherman and very little of anyone else there. grabbed the Whites Surf PI. It was mid-tide and aside from 3 teens playing soccer and myself the beach was empty. I hit the wet sand first, as high tide was fast approaching and I only had an hour. couple of nails, then nothing. so I head to the dry sand towel line (never seen any towels.. just guessing locations) slow and steady... another nail, then finally a bottle cap, Corona.. then the hour was over, and time to hit the trail home. just goes to show you that instinct plays a small part in the hunt. The site may prove to be better in the future but for quick hunts, I'll go where I can hopefully get some quick quality finds and maybe bring the Nox 800 next time!
