We are making our plans for our annual visit to the Englewood, Port Charlotte FL area. We have gone there for years and love it. Anything new as far as areas to hit or stay away from? Any new laws prohibiting detecting on the beaches? I usually detect Englewood public beach, Boca Grande, North and South Jetty's and make a day trip to Sarasota or down to Ft Meyers. All have been fun. Thinking of trying Naples for a day this year. Any input would be appreciated. Maybe I will see you there. I will have a my DFX and wear a white canvas hat.

I have hit all of the beaches you have listed, nothing has changed. There has been a large number of guys detecting in and out of the water. Hit Boca Grande last week with Erick and it was terrible. I think it is lack of people beach sanded in and to much re nourishment done...
