Hello folks,

I was wondering if anyone has flown with his/her metal detector and could let me know how much of a hassle it is. I'm concerned about the security folks at the airports. We're flying from NYC to St. Petersburg for just a couple of days so I was thinking about breaking down my TS and putting in my carry on. I know I shouldn't have the batteries in, does anyone have any other suggestions?

Thanks,
Sue

I thought I was going to have a problem the last time I flew, but they only confiscated the suntan lotion for being over 3 oz. Go ahead and bring it on.
