Colin, that came out of the ground in such good condition, that's a great find. I have found about 10 hammered coins in the 10 months I've been detecting now, but so far no gold.

Colin, my advise is, never sell it, no matter how much they will offer you.
Its the nicest thing on earth, because you found it !
My one and only find is a sovereign George III - 1820 and I am more than happy with it !!!
An old guy once told me that the sweetest sound is the clicking of some sovereigns, close to your ear...
