Even more astounding is the fact that George Washington himself donated the silver for this issue. The metal for these coins came directly from bullion and Mr. Washington's serving set!

This is the type of find I love to show all the nay sayers that think I am crazy for "digging a few cents in a couple of hours"-they just don't "get it" ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Even though most of them have never tried it. Sorry, got off track there-What great history you have there-does't get any better than that!! (not even the swedish bikini team ;D ;D!)

I have been DETECTING since 1986 and NEVER have found anything more than a few silver coins not worh much. maybe I shoud travel.
