Congratulations on a find of a lifetime!, that video was just about the best detecting video I have ever witnessed, the finds you and the others made are top notch, your story deserves recognition, heck perhaps national headlines, but then you draw attention to your finds and we all know what happens after that. Either way man, I'm blown away at that hunt, I watched it twice! Congrats to you sir, go take a beach vacation and sip on them fancy umbrella drinks, you guys deserve it!

Awesome Hunt... you know without the video it would have been still one great hunt to remember for sure... but to have it on video to remember and to replay it is simply amazing. You raised the bar with that hunt. ps I love the riker case display with the golden pinnacle atop the pyramid. I am glad to see you are keeping them together.

The detail on every coin is incredible! One thing to find a group of old coins, to find a gold coin and have them all in beautiful condition makes it a dream come true. Don't you wish you could bottle that feeling. It's incredible for sure

Congrats on making the banner and watching the video is... well if it doesn't get a persons blood pumping they're just plain cold hearted.

Just a question and if has been asked already I missed it. Looking at the profiles of the halves there's iron staining on at least 6 of the halves, was this because of iron around them, or could it of been that they were in a metal container? It's just that when watching the video the coins seemed to be in just dirt and there wasn't any iron staining around in the soil. Maybe it's hard to view on a video and would of been more evident to you when the plug was turned over and the recovery was made.

Once again thanks-this is what dreams are made of right there.
