Now that's a great day of detecting and it sure shows in the silver and relic department. I've looked at the coin now a few times and the detail and condition is certainly a coin that anybody would want to have in a collection. Congrats and the vote is also put in on this rare find. :occasion14:
Geez I'd be over the top with the love token, the cut farthing, and the clothing fastner.

WHOA! Killer denarius, I'm pretty jelly haha. Where in the 4 figures range do you think it ranks at? £1,500? More?

Definitely a rare bannerworthy find, congrats!

Cru the detail on that coin is incredible! Was that a fertilized field? I'm always amazed that a coin of that age can look like that. Great find buddy

Most of our land is out of bounds & planted. This field will be drilled soon but with big clay lumps it was less than perfect.

Yeap, a hard combo to get. This year has been low on numbers but high on quality, & that suits me fine.

Cru'Dad & I just couldn't believe it, it was the such an unpromising field. We just laugh about it, because the odds are so crazy, yet we do it time after time.

Cru, incredible finds as usual and that Denerius is amazing. :notworthy: Sometimes (most of the time) I have a hard time wrapping my head around the things you guys pull out of the ground over there. "US old" and "England old" are apples and oranges! Usually I stare at your posts and have a hard time coming to terms with these things you guys find that are 1000's of years old, yet look incredible. It's gonna look great up top and as always, looking forward to your next post.
