Nice find!Can't say that I've ever saw one before.I dug up one of the later brown ones that would have went to the sprayer.I wouldn't mind having some of the artwork that Dr. Seuss did for the ad campaign.

Interesting bottle. Decades ago, "Flit" was a generic term (like "Kleenex") for insecticide. I can still recall "the Flit gun," a hand-pumped spray-gun, used to discourage flying insects. I wonder what supplanted Flit.

I found some smashed 'Flit-guns' there.They were prodused in the 1930s to end of 50s,made of brown bakelite.
I use to walk the dump-site after rain in order to pick up pins,tokens,pretty buttons or war decorations.It's large like a soccer place and looks like this overall:
