here are the bottles from those mounds i was talking about. i kinda researched them and they appear to be nothing too old. i do have a question tho, from past experience of trying to clean old bottles i have never gotten rid of that dull faded look on the glass, is there anyway to make the glass look brand new again??? maybe with a light coat of oil? i have read some of the cleaning techniques posted in here, but is there a way for the brand new look???
thanks
Brandon

C,

nice bottles; I would keep working that area.

Cleaning, I would not use any type of oil.

Have you tried the bartender products that are sold
in the major retail stores. Called "Bar Keepers Friend".
Once you have the bottle relatively clean try putting
some in the bottle with a bit of water and swish, swish,
swish........................rinse.

Hope you dig down in the location you mentioned and
find more.

have a good un.................

have not tried acid or bleach yet, i think ill just put them in a big pickle jar and fill it with water and put the bottle in it, then it will have the "new" look :)
