McC(ormick's)?

I finally got around to cleaning the "lesser" bottles from last week's privy dig, and two of them have some lettering on the bottom. They're square bottles; one is 5" tall and the other 4 1/4". The larger has M c C on the bottom and the other W M c C. Hopefully the pictures will show this. Does anyone know anything about these? Could they be early McCormick's? Help!

Re: McC(ormick's)?

Both the bottles are from the glass maker William McCully and company Pittsburgh PA. (c- 1841- 1909). Nice finds.

Hey, thanks, Wolverine! Where do you get information like this? I have a bottle book with lots of different trademarks in it, but couldn't find that one. So these are 100+ years old, then. Swell.
