I went to a flea market yesterday an seen a historical flask.. I don't know much about them at all.. anyways the guy wanted 20.00 for it.. I only had 35.00 to last me the week..so 20.00 was to much to get burnt on.. The bottle was a aqua grape pattern (don't remember what the revrse side had on it) the bottom was a iron pontil (GRAY IRON) I always thought the historicals all had sheared lips so I was thinking it was a repro an someone used metal power to fake a iron pontil an I passed on it... got to work called a friend an he told me that they never made a repro with a iron pontil... So I passed on a the real deal... that is just my luck!

Wow,,, sorry about that Creeper, but who knows some flasks are really quite common. You may not have been burned to badly, just a 1st degree burn.... jgas
