Another big find at the old park site...
Found this while metal detecting by seeing part of the top poking out of the ground.
The face of the bottle reads:
Darrow's
Quality Checked
Milk
Darrow
Ice Cream Co.
Albuquerque
New Mexico
Around the base:
SEALED (Then a strange T symbol) OB
1 REG.
HALF GALLON
LIQ. 438
The bottom reads: S 54
What I do know is In 1956, Creamland merged with the Darrow Ice Cream Company
Other than that I can't find anything on this bottle
Any help would be appreciated.

This is all I have found on this company.
Floyd F. Darrow - His family moved to Albuquerque in 1929 and purchased the Thomas Creamery and opened the Darrow Ice Cream Business.
After the war, he continued in the ice cream business
Robert John "Bob" Darrow - Upon discharge from the Navy he returned to the family business (the Darrow Ice Cream Company) to run the company with his father Earl and brothers Floyd and Barton. The Darrow Ice Cream Company had been principal ice cream supplier to the state of New Mexico. When the company merged with Creamland Dairies in 1956, Mr. Darrow remained as vice-president to run the dairy side of the business, especially ice cream manufacturing.

Does anyone know about how much a bottle like this would be worth?

Unless it was avery short run for this dairy, which I doubt because the bottle is from 1954 I would say $10-20 would be top end....Good luck with it....Jim
