Snuff bottle - Any idea of it's age?

A friend of mine found this pontil snuff bottle in the bottom of a local creek here in S.W Georgia this past Sunday. We are trying to determine if it older than 1860s. Any thoughts or comments are welcomed.

Open Pontil I would say thats 1860 or earlier. Hinge mold was a bit later, then smooth base...Nice find! jgas

JGAS, Thank you for your reply. How far back does this particular type bottle go back to?

Could be as far back as late 1700's But thats a guess. I have seen them dated to the early to mid 1800's though. Pretty darn old. Nice save too!
