Bottle Appraisal

I have a late 1800's graduated medicine bottle I dug. It says R.J. Westermyer and on the bottom it says W.T. Co patent 1894. I know W.T. Co was a common medicine company but I haven't seen this bottle. Any info?

Whitall-Tatum was a bottle manufacturer, a prominent one, which made many varieties of medicine and cosmetics bottles.

Do some research on the R.J. Westermyer (druggist, physician, patent med mfr.?). If it is a locally-sold product, its greatest value will be to a collector in that locality. Whatever it turns out to be, I don't think the value will be great -- just a few dollars, if you can find a buyer.

Thanks. That's what I figured. I get a lot of local bottles around my area (Fairfield County, CT).

I found an ad in a 1903 local newspaper advertising R.J Westermayr as a druggist. Cool
