Ha! We were throwing a suspended "jerk" bait ( or rogue) in approximately 7 feet water depth. Conditions were windy, overcast, approx 65 degrees outside.

Hey ba,

I think I can remember days like that, but just barely...

I was talking cooking recipes, not catching strategies.

Sorry, yes it is. I wanted surf to and others to see why i chose the name i have. Fried: i use yellow cornmeal mix. Throw a little salt and pepper in the mix and season to taste. Get your oil( i prefer peanut oil) to a temperature of 350-375 degrees. Roll your fish fillets in the cornmeal mix and drop them in the grease. When they float they are done

Hey ba,

I'm trying to avoid fried foods, so the fish, or at least the frying doesn't kill me. 8-) Do you ever sauté, or grill? I'm thinking a garlic / mango marinade...

My bride, the chef, makes sea bass occasionally, but it has been kinda on the boring side. I'm looking to tune up that Bass. Maybe wild leeks, and jalapeños...
