Got a call from a guy who contacted me a few months ago, his family bottled grape juice and used any and every bottle they could get their hands on. First trip I got about 20 crowntop bottles, he also had a strapside flask and a nice amber blob I wanted but he was gonna keep them for himself, made me sad but what can ya do. He contacted me again after going thru everything, turned out he had a couple of cases from Paterson and a few more bottles.
I stopped by and was very happy with the cases and some of the bottles, after we agreed on a price he asked if I was still interested in the flask and the blob, I told I sure was and the deal was done. I think the crates will be made into a coffee table as per the drawing I'm attaching, and the other bottles will be resold or used as traders. The amber blob is a great find and the flask is a quart that was unknown to local collectors until now, I wish all weekends were this good.
The two Goldyrock bottles are from another neighboring town and have been sent to the great grandson of the founder of that company, he lives in California and I send him all the bottles I can find, they belong with the family as far as I'm concerned.
