Info on Glass bottle

Hey I just found a father johns medicine bottle and I have been looking all I've the Internet for info, but can't find anything useful, help?

Cool bottle. Still looking for one that hasnt been broken. I have been able to trace some of my finds. One piece was from the W.T.C. Co. 1890 to 1920s Its always cool to find old stuff that u can trace to a time period

I have seen only a screw top on these bottles. That suggests that they are quite late as patent medicines go -- likely 20th century. Could there have been a 19th century version with a cork top? Sure. But, this example doesn't appear to be a corker.

Check the bottom for a makers mark, and then look here, GLASS MANUFACTURERS' MARKS ON BOTTLES & OTHER GLASSWARE that might help you date it Good luck, cool bottle.

I've dug a bunch of these in tooled tops. After the second one, I stopped bringing them home. It was a popular brand in these parts. Mine are heavy, thick walled bottles.
