Duraglas bottle from bottle dump

I was walking in the woods yesterday and found an old cabin site and just north of it was a large bottle dump. I dug around on the top layer and found a few jars and this bottle.

It's a 1945 bottle according to the date. Can anyone tell me if it's a juice bottle or beer bottle and if it has any value?

I plan on gong back this week to dig some more and will probably take my metal detector and digging tools.

I think that's a modern vinegar bottle. Good idea to go back- w/ ammunition. The top layer is often a disappoint, but undoubtedly more underneath! Yak

Welcome to TNet & thanks for showing us your bottle. Not beer, you didn't mention the size or capacity. Doubtful on the juice, possibly vinegar. It's a mid-century, machine made bottle, with no collector value, unfortunately.

Thanks for the replies. As to the size, it's 7 1/4" tall and holds about 18oz.
