I was wondering if anyone could help me identify the age, what it was used for, and maybe even a value for the purple bottle that I found. I can’t find any makers marks on it. There is a pontil on the bottom. Has a unique shape and color. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Looks fairly new to me but new or old with no embossing of any kind on it. I would say around $20.00 Nice color and pontil.

That is a rather attractive bottle. I think it's a modern piece of art glass. It does kinda look like a chestnut flask though.

I was thinking it was a newer piece as well. If it was from the 1800's you would think it would have a lot more ware on the bottom of the bottle. I did look up the chestnut flask and it does resemble them quite a bit. I may have to do a little more investigation on that.
