Well almost everything was either cracked or chipped. Very very frustrating dig. Ok lets start with the damaged stuff... ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1434325654.091211.jpg Ross's Belfast round-bottom...chipped on the lip. Next:
ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1434325764.627640.jpg ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1434325778.418064.jpg Bixby's French Polish...chipped lip. Next:
ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1434325851.602725.jpg Dead Stuck Bug Poison...crack in neck. Next:
ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1434325931.934268.jpg Porcelain owl whistle. (Still works great)I love this thing. Chipped in the front. NEXT:
Finally I have for your enjoyment my only two bottles that weren't damaged: ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1434326119.633602.jpg A sample size Kemps Balsam. And
ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1434326170.876658.jpg This bottle. I don't know but think this is maybe a poison bottle? Cosmetic? Anyways, not my best dig but there you have it. There were a couple other bottles too but nothing really worth writing about here. Heres the whole lot of them... Damaged or not you killed it today. I don't think I have ever seen that variant of a bixby. But that owl whistle is awesome I've never seen anything like it.

Thanks dude. I've never seen that Bixby either. I was sad it was chipped for sure. On the owl whistle...sounds gross but I didnt know it was a whistle until i brought it home and noticed a small hole in the back so naturally I put my mouth on it and gave it a toot and ah ha!!!

just the fact that this bottle still exists and survived a hundred ought years in the ground makes it worth it

Still a good day! The whistle is great! Don't let the damages get you down.

glass is fragile ,and for it to have survived being thrown in a dump is a miracle . I don't sweat a small chip or flea bight if its a good bottle.

I agree sun runner. But there is a point for me where the damage is too much. A flea bite...that fine.

Thanks Charlie. I saw a couple on the Internet. Other than that I've never seen one either. One that I saw has a backwords S in the word polish. Got to get through the bad days to hopefully get to one good one.
