I would really like to see your favorite bottles! I am relatively new to this hobby and need some motivation to continue. I have been looking occasionally for about two years now and really want to get into bottle collecting. Here is my favorite bottle so far that I found in a river last summer. Happy Memorial Day, thanks to all you veterans for your sacrifices! Thank you all so much in advance!

I second that . That is a very unusual lip finish is it abm or bim?

I believe bim because the seam goes to about 1/2 or 2/3 up the way of the neck. There are scratches up the neck that were done by hand tools too. I like this bottle a lot because I found it in Ypsilanti, Mi which is about an hour away from my house, and it is from a company in Ypsilanti.

Here are a few pics of my collection and my better finds. I really want to start locating older bottles as all the dumps I find are from the 40s-50s. I get tired of digging mostly machine made bottles.

That Pontiac milk with the chief is a nice piece, one sold for 85 plus shipping so if more can be found in your newer dumps I wouldn't be too disgruntled, though digging in old bim dumps is good fun. Nice finds.

Thank you! I found it in a lake with my brother about a year ago. I will go back this summer and try to find more. There were some old shards on the bottom of the lake.

I love all my bottles... but my favorite is one I dug not from a pit but rather a fresh Goodwill dump, price was a buck fifty if memory serves me. I wonder if any on here have dug one or shards of one.

That is insane! Congrats on your awesome find! Some of my best bottles I got were from garage sales for a buck or under.
